Premium Co Co Husk Chips 2.5L Bag
Coconut husk chips are a renewable resource that come in various sizes, making them ideal as a standalone growing medium or a potting mix additive. The slow decomposition of these chips ensures maximum air circulation for plant roots, particularly beneficial for orchids.
What Are Coconut Husk Chips? When the coconut husk is not separated into coco fibre and coco peat but cut into pieces, coco chips are produced. These chips undergo a thorough wash in clean water, resulting in a material with a low EC level (salt content) that is safe for use in growing media.
- Versatile Applications: Suitable as a standalone growing medium or as an additive to potting mixtures, creating the ideal physical properties for plant growth.
- Enhanced Air Circulation: The structure of coconut husk chips provides excellent air circulation, essential for sensitive plants like gerberas and orchids.
- Moisture Retention: These chips can absorb water efficiently, ensuring your plants remain hydrated while still allowing enough air to reach the roots.
- Eco-Friendly: Being a natural and renewable resource, coconut husk chips are an environmentally responsible choice for gardeners.
