It Started With A Name ...
Hi, I’m Rachel – the founder & heart behind My Plantasy.
What started over four years ago as a small passion project on Instagram has grown into a thriving one-woman business and a true paradise for plant lovers!
As My Plantasy grew, I dreamed of creating more than just a plant shop – I wanted a one-stop destination for rare plants, plant care, and absolutely everything plant-themed, with a focus on finding rare & variegated plant themed products.
After launching the website, I began searching for unique and beautiful products to bring that vision to life.
At My Plantasy, almost all our products have been sourced from other small Australian businesses, But to ensure there are always new, unique & wonderful things to be found at My Plantasy, we also source products from abroad, but even then, those products have been made by small businesses as well!
All plants are hand grown by me in an indoor climate controlled environment, from either cuttings, corms or sometimes seeds. All plants are grown in-house, quite literally! This is why there isn't huge amounts of plants in stock. But My Plantasy grown plants are grown with love & adoration,from amazing original mother plants purchased during the pandemic when they were worth thousands!
One year on, My Plantasy's roots are firm. Fortnightly plant drops, My Plantasy merch, Plant Fairs and an ever-growing following of planty friends, especially those who have been with us since the beginning, when all My Plantasy was, was an instagram name.

Order arrived as pictured. Good quality clear pot. Was able to supply the clear pots that were difficult to find elsewhere as most were clear orchid pots with additional holes that I didn't require. Well packed and arrived in good time. Great communication on delivery times.
